KidsTeam E-Textiles is a co-design group made up of University of Washington Graduate students, Minhyung Jo and Christina Kennedy, along with teens and kids that use the Broadview Branch Library. We are just one iteration of KidsTeam SPL, a research collaboration between University of Washington researchers and Seattle Public Libraries Technology personnel.

KidsTeam SPL is dedicated to bringing the end user in the planning and design process for introducing new technologies SPL's kids programming. At each design session we get feedback from the design teams. We've organized the feedback into four themes, Teaching, Tasks, Timing, Tools. Adults, teens, and kids all contribute their feedback and design ideas during the session. We can use this data to guide the planning and implementation of new programming as well as future co-design research projects.
