While earning my MLIS degree I also looked for a wide variety of library experiences; classroom learning was not enough for me.

 

My goal was to graduate with a clear idea of the work that I found engrossing. In a leadership course I learned that many of my strengths were in relationship building and communication.

Covid-19 has disrupted my learning and work environments, but I have been part of efforts in both areas to shift quickly to online learning.

 

My capstone and teaching work have both moved online and given me a lot of experience working remotely as a researcher and educator.
